HP Pavilion All In One Pc

I have recent bought a HP pavilion all in one pc, by saying recent i mean like last week. This was from a well known retailer which makes me the first owner of this pc.

The fan has always been making a noise even if i am not even doing anything on the computer. After googling about this people have said about dust, i didnt think this would be an issue with a new product but cleaned it anyways, didnt help. I went onto the Hp website which adviced me to change the power plan to a lower one, i did this. Restarted the computer and not a single change. Anyone else have any clue how to fix this?

I am a student who prefers to work in silence and with the fan noise it seems impossible , the more i use it the more noiticable the noise becomes. Fab product just this shouldnt be an issue with a PC priced at 900. Thanks for any help.

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer. I will be delighted to assist you here.

Try the steps given below:

I have a few recommendations:

  • Updating your Notebook computer BIOS

  • Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean

  • Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat

  • Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes

  • Selecting power saves settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
