I turn my pc on, and I get a bright orange and blue color on my screen. How can I get it to the color it was. I want it back to its normal color. I tried everything.

Hi there @lellery,

Welcome back to the HP Support Forums!  I understand that your display is showing a colour band  on the screen.  I am happy to assist you with this.

What is the model of the display? Have you tried using a different display cable, or display connection?

Also try looking through this document: HP and Compaq Flat Panel Displays - Display Quality Issues, and if all else fails use the method in the last section.

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.

What did you try?

Does the monitor work correctly when connected to the video-port on some other computer, e.g., a laptop?

Try your video-cable.  Try a borrowed video-cable.

How does a different monitor, with the same video-cable, work on your computer?

> orange and blue colors

Colours on the screen are "additive".

Mix all three "primary" colours, to get WHITE.

Lose of those colours, and you will not get WHITE.

How to "lose" a colour?  Bad video-cable, or bad video-card in your computer, or bad monitor, or loose connections.
