HP BIOS mistake

I’m a young guy who doesn’t really know a whole lot about PCs at all.. I left my computer on while I walked away to do some chores around the house when I walked back in to see a completely unfamiliar image on my screen known as the “HP BIOS Management”. Completely confused and in a immediate panic I only looked at the screen for a moment before pressing the power button on my desktop. A few moments later, I pressed the power button and my desktop turned back on but there was no image appearing on my monitor. After google searching the BIOS Management image that I had saw I noticed that it said to NOT turn off the power while still in the process of updating(which I did anyways). At the time I was not completely certain why my pc had that type of update until looking at the back of my desktop to see the HP logo on it. Clearly I feel like an idiot and I realize now that I reacted way too soon and paid VERY little attention. Is there a way for me to fix this issue and to allow my desktop to go through the BIOS Management update again properly, or have I screwed myself over and would now need to save up for a new desktop completely? Please help! Thanks.

Turn off the computer, and then connect the power cord.
Press and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time, and then press and hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds.
Release the Power button but continue pressing the Windows and B keys. You might hear a series of beeps.
The HP BIOS Update screen displays and the recovery begins automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts to continue the startup to complete the recovery.

If the HP BIOS Update screen does not display, repeat the previous steps but press the Windows key and the V key. If the screen still does not display, your computer might not support the feature or there is a hard drive issue. Continue to the next step to install a BIOS recovery file from the HP website.
If the Power light turns off, the Power button was held too long. Repeat the previous steps, making sure to hold the button for only 2 to 3 seconds.
