Hi. Received notice to update Bios. Have tried to update, but stuck in continuous loop. Have tried disconnecting power, holding the Windows and B key, etc. Nothing works. Would appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows and stuck in a BIOS update loop.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

How did you update the BIOS? (From HP support assistant or HP website)

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article to roll back the BIOS to the previous version.

NOTE: Follow the steps under Recovering the BIOS using a USB recovery drive

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hi. I appreciate your response. With the help of a friend who is much more knowledgeable than I am, we tried those possible solutions. Unfortunately nothing worked.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
