HP Chromebook x360
Chrome OS

Today during my class zoom meet my Chromebook decided to just freeze and it wasn't letting me do anything. I couldn't power it off or anything and it still is frozen on my zoom meet. Whenever I close it almost all the way the screen turns off so I think it still works but its just glitched out or something. It also keeps heating up. Hopefully someone can help me, thank you.

I just let the battery drain itself and once it died and I plugged it in the Chromebook worked perfectly fine so I'm not sure what the problem was really.

Same problem here, though I wasn't on Zoom. Was watching a YouTube video. I closed the tab, then the Chromebook froze solid -- can't even do a hard reset, which is crazy to me. Guess I just have to let the battery drain like you did and hope for the best. Not being able to hard reset knocks this Chromebook down one star. Amongst all the computers I've owned over the years (even used to build my own), I've never had one that couldn't be hard reset.
