Ok worked through the issues with the right PS3 Controller POV rotating.

I read that if a driver is not digitally signed, it will cause issues.

So, I initiated a restart holding the SHIFT key, chose TROUBLE SHOOT

ADVANCED

STARTUP SETTINGS

RESTART

I believe that disables the signed driver signature requirement temporarily.

Once my system rebooted I now see XBOX 360 Peripherals is listed in Device Manager it wasn't there before.

It also shows up under setup USB gaming controllers in Control Panel.

I started up Final Fantasy 14 and used my controller, it worked.

Okay, I was originally having difficulties with ScpToolkit, It was setup error on my end, I did not properly scroll down the list of options in the Controller setup area, I was thinking it was not listed. I uninstalled the program through Revo Uninstaller and installed the version I had tried earlier. It was then that I thought of clicking the hardware options and seen a scrollbar.

Down the list was PS3 Controller.

I clicked that, installed just the PS3 controller and clicked force driver installation.

The process completed.

This is the results I am hoping that I am not still in driver signature enforcement turned off mode, this stuff wears you out and you forget what you've done beforehand. If I am NOT still in driver signature enforcement turned off mode, then I should be OK.

Image below was clipped to just so the areas of the Device Manger that are important are visible

Final Update: did a reboot and my PS3 controller is still listed in Device Manager, no exclamation marks, things still look like the image above. The POV issue was also resolved, no more rotation in POV.

Hopefully this is it. As for Roxio Easy VHS To DVD, I have no clue why that fails to work anymore, old software isn't always forever I guess.

My last post.

Just for the fun of it, I tried installing Roxio VHS TO DVD Plus, which is a newer version from the one I was trying to install.

I made sure I did a system Restore point first.

After installing it, I double clicked the Sound Editor and it started up and it even recognized and played an MP3.

Then I did a system restart to test if I will have system issues with this version.

Sure enough, upon restart screen dark for a bit, then that dreaded "Attemping to repair your system........we cannot repair your system, chose a recovery option........Of course I chose use System Restore, chose the restore point I made and my system was rolled back before Roxio was installed booted successfully to my desktop.

As far as this thread goes, I have finally updated to Windows 11 24H2 after months of failed attempts with roll-backs to 23H2. Now, since I have Roxio Easy VHS To DVD 3, I think since the package says it's Windows 10 64 Bit, I need to go hound the Roxio forums for help and find out why their software I bought crashes Windows 11 24H2.

Perhaps this thread will help someone else with what it reveals so far.

In conclusion, thank you to everyone who helped me here so far.

Bruce.
