Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I do not know if I am in the right forum. I have been using the HP assistance for updates since 2022 when I purchased the computer with no problem. Norton utilities is trying to sell me a product and indicates that I am missing over 27 system updates. I am now using OS 24H2. I posted previously and was told that I need to have someone access my system remotely which I will not accept. My question is about the conflict between HP Assistant and Norton Utilities.

Thank you fo any guidance that you may provide.

Welcome back to the Forum.

 

I haven't used Norton Utilities in decades. I tend to avoid utility software such as this.

 

Trying to upsell software by creating FUD seems to be a questionable business model.

 

HPSA would provide software updates for HP PC components and software.

 

Did Norton tell you what system updates are needed? Do them yourself if the updates relate to other non-HP provided software and non-HP components installed in your MB.
