HP Deskjet 3515
Microsoft Windows 11

HP Audio Analytics Service consuming >30% of CPU. The remedy suggested on https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Knowledge-Base/Update-HP-Hotkey-UWP-Service/ta-p/8356241 does not work. Also, I cannot access the FTP website from the link provided. After downloading https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/softpaq/CASLSetup.exe, nothing happens.

Hi @rampisad,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're encountering several issues with your HP Deskjet 3515 printer and related software/services. Let's address them step by step.

HP Deskjet 3515 Hotkey UWP Service Leak: This could be a problem with the HP Hotkey UWP (Universal Windows Platform) service consuming excessive resources or memory. To address this.

  • First, try restarting your computer. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve such issues temporarily.
  • If the problem persists, you may need to update the drivers and software for your printer. Visit the HP website, locate the support section, and download the latest drivers and software for your printer model.
  • Alternatively, you can try disabling the HP Hotkey UWP service if you're not using any features associated with it. You can do this by accessing the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), navigating to the "Services" tab, finding the HP Hotkey UWP service, right-clicking on it, and selecting "Stop" or "Disable."

HP Audio Analytics Service consuming CPU: If the HP Audio Analytics Service is consuming excessive CPU resources and not working properly, you can try the following steps:

  • Similar to the previous issue, make sure your drivers and software are up-to-date. Visit the HP website to download and install any available updates for your printer and related software.
  • If the service is not critical for your printer's functionality, you can consider disabling it. Use the Task Manager to locate the service and disable it if necessary.

FTP Website Access Issue: If you're unable to access the FTP website provided by HP, there could be several reasons for this:

  • Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working properly.
  • Try accessing the FTP website from a different web browser or device to rule out any browser-specific issues.
  • If you're still unable to access the FTP website, it's possible that the website may be temporarily down or experiencing technical difficulties. In this case, you may need to try again later.
  • If you're trying to download a specific file (CASLSetup.exe) from the FTP website and nothing happens after downloading it, it's possible that the file is corrupted or incompatible with your system. You can try re-downloading the file.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
