Dear HP Customer Support,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an issue I’ve encountered with my HP computer. I purchased this device approximately 18 months or so ago, expecting the reliability and quality that HP is known for. However, I am now facing a complete failure of the motherboard, rendering the computer unusable due to the charge not holding. I am in grad school and am an avid user of your products. I trusted this product to carry me through this challenging program.
This kind of failure in such a relatively short period of time is extremely frustrating and concerning, especially considering the investment I made in this device. I have used the computer responsibly and only for typical personal/work purposes. I did not expect to encounter a critical hardware issue so soon after purchase, especially one as serious and costly as a motherboard failure.
While I understand that the standard warranty period may have expired, I believe this type of hardware malfunction points to a potential defect or issue in manufacturing. I respectfully request that HP review this situation and consider providing a repair, replacement, or cost-sharing option as a gesture of goodwill and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Please advise on how to proceed. I can provide the serial number, proof of purchase, and any additional information required upon request.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
