So on Wednesday, 12/21/22 (last wednesday as this is going up), my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop began experiencing Error ID: 41. It kept rebooting/restarting without my input and as I was watching YouTube for some solutions, I decided to just reset the thing hoping that would work somehow. I got to the reset screen, and as it was resetting it reboot (due to Error ID: 41.). When it turned back on, I was presented with a black screen with a blue-greyish box in the middle saying something along the lines of "Missing BIOS files." This scared the crap out of me. I look on YouTube for some solutions and saw something about copying another computer's files to a USB Drive and inserting the same drive into my Pavilion. Luckily, I had another Laptop (not a Pavilion though) and copied everything onto a USB Drive. Then I plugged it into my Pavilion. As I did that, it turned on and it's working (As I'm able to type this in) but now I'm experiencing a different problem. My space before all of this happened was somewhere around 250GB. Now the max is 26.5GB. Almost all of that storage is taken up by Windows files. As of posting this, I have 1.96GB of space left. I can't even install any updates due to lack of space. Is there any way for me to fix this?

hi
Start with Disk Cleanup
already check where is located the main space use
Open Settings, System, Storage, view more categories
here you can see what is used
show here what you have, with a capture
you can start, without risk, temporary files
click , delete all

Are you sure you didn't do anything else?
If we look at the product page here
https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c06659931
you must have a 512 GB Intel® SSD
out, what I did not understand, this is no longer the case
Finally, there is not so much space used, the max being 21 gb
but the SSD capacity is now only 26.5 gb
that's not exactly what I understood
You need to open disk management
and same, share image here

I saw information that this computer, must have two ssd drives
32GB Intel® Optane + 512GB Intel SSD
which seems more logical to me
It is no longer detected, and only the smallest remains
you will have to disassemble and check
Remove the ssd, try it if possible with another computer as a secondary drive

If you are no longer under warranty and do not feel able to do so, perhaps see a professional.
you can help yourself with the documents/manual here
try to see before in the bios, reload the default settings, you never know
HP Pavilion Gaming 16-a0000 Laptop PC Series - BIOS Simulator
as for connecting the SSD, it will depend on what you have exactly, if it is a classic sata SSD, type of connection
