Windows 11 Home on my HP laptop no longer boots. No even a Win To Go will boot the USB, even with Secure Boot disabled. If I go to Command prompt in Recovery, it endlessly repeats. When I had access to scandisk or chkdsk, the corrections did not fix the boot issue. A successful system restore did not fix the boot. Have to be quick to select from the Recovery Screen or it continues on leaving me in the dust. Startup Repair fails. Due to CMD prompt problem, can't issue command line commands before it repeats the command prompt in the middle of a word. Earlier, the 3rd MBR rebuild command failed for lack of access. I would try a clean install if I could access the laptop enough do it. I'd like to try to reach the Recovery Partition volume to see if direct access would fix the boot but can't get past the CMD prompt problem. And the laptop never shows more than critical failure message once HR logo vanishes. Possibly the problem devolved to an inability to access partition volumes. No hardware failure detected by early troubleshooting. How do I get by these obstacles? Maybe a virus or malware did this but had no indication from Defender.
