Hi @Million_Ho,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We’re very sorry to hear about the theft of your laptop, and we understand how stressful this situation can be.

Unfortunately, HP cannot remotely block or disable a device once it has been lost or stolen. However, here are some important steps you can take:

If you purchased and activated LoJack (Absolute) tracking service before the theft, you may be able to:

  • Track the device’s location.
  • Lock it remotely.
  • Wipe data or report it as stolen.

Otherwise – Contact Local Authorities:

  • We strongly recommend you file a police report and provide them with:
    • The laptop’s serial number.
    • Proof of purchase.
    • Any other identifying details?

Once a report is filed, law enforcement may reach out to HP’s Security team for further assistance through official channels.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
