I have a nifty little 23er that's served me well for the better part of 6 years and I absolutely love it to death. Recently it has stopped powering on unless the power cord is held at a seemingly random angle. I bought a different power cord as a replacement and no dice, still the problem persists.

Anyone have any solutions that worked for them? I called HP support but apparently the product number and the serial number both just don't exist in their system so they weren't able to help me

The quick search I did on this shows a power cord with a charger "brick" -- is that what yours came with?

If so, did you use the HP part number on the charger to buy a replacement?  If done that for laptop chargers and not gone wrong.
