I'm trying to help my mother with her computer.:womanfrustrated:
I ran a scan on her hard drives and the hard drvie optimized dst check failed. The Failure ID is OGFB6C-000836-9XJ2XA-615903. Can anyone tell me where I go from here? Do I need to get her a new hard drive, ect??? Thank you.

Jenna, welcome to the forum.
I believe that the hard drive has failed. Here is the Troubleshooting section for the hard drive. I suggest following the guide on testing it. If it shows that it has failed, your only option is to replace it. Here is a guide to help you replace it. You should assure that the new hard drive is the same size or larger than the existing one.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
