Thete is something I don't get from the beginning : which part of my hp computer is out of order ?? The hard drive is not a SSD one (see picture below) so...why replacing it with a SSD ,?
I am sorry for being ignorant but I just know storage has evoluted and you could have two disks in a computer for , in French, alive and dead memory. With the hp I don't understand the way it works, but it is not the same as lenovo...

Your notebook has the old fashioned 2 5" mechanical hard drive.
That's why I gave you the two better options to replace it.
A 2.5" SSD or a M.2 2280 NVME SSD.
Unfortunately, the M 2 SSD in your Lenovo is too short.

This I understood.
But Windows is also stored in my old fashionned hard drive ?
Changing for SSD is just modernizing ? The problem is just that my hard drive is broken, though I could get back all the datas stored in ?
Re-installing windows might be difficult ? I am not supposed to ...pay for Windows ??

You don't have to pay for Windows.
The product key is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS, and I gave you two ways to install Windows on the new drive
You may not be able to recover any data from the failed drive.
You could buy a SATA to USB cable, plug it into a working PC's USB port and see if you can read/copy any data from the failed drive to the PC.

Ok.
Datas from the failed drive have already been copied.
I removed the small drive from lenovo. I can try to fix it in hp but how will hp computer "decide" if he has to read the new drive or the failed old one ? I cannot imagine it will work so easily ?

You leave the failed drive out of the PC and the Windows boot manager should automatically switch to the SSD.
How are you going to secure the shorter M.2 drive so it doesn't stick up?
It is too short to reach where the M.2 2280 drive is screwed down.

Ok Paul.
1. I expected to keep the old drive for datas and space for memory but of course it makes sense to remove it since it is corrupted.
2. I thought I could connect the ssd and maybe fix it by sticking it with a rubber strip I found in the lenovo. If you think itvis not a good idea...I forget it. I think I like the idea of benefitting from something from the broken lenovo...
3. Now watching on TV the sunny French tennis open...this is a great event for me ! 🙂

Any way you want to hold the drive down should work but don't use anything metal.
Because the 2.5" drive has a problem, I would hesitate against using it.
However, if you want to try and use if for storage, format it first to remove Windows from the drive because the notebook will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive first and not the SSD if the 2.5" drive has an operating system on it.
The thing is if it always throws a code and you have to remove the drive to fix it, it seems counterproductive to me.
Enjoy your tennis match.
I'm an ice hockey fan and the season is over except for the two teams left competing for the Stanley Cup.

Sounds logical...indeed. I tried to open the hp but it seems risky. Very low-cost material and kind of hidden screws I can't see...
Tennis turnes to drama...5th and last set ! Alcaraz is leading but I prefer Zverev.
I used to enjoy ice hockey. When I was a child the French league was gathering teams from little ski ressorts team and local people. Then big money came ang I gave up...but hockey remains a littli thing in my country.
