I have a HP all in one model HP 19-2311W and it turns on, the CD drive works however the display stays black. I have tried the hard reset procedure by unplugging the computer and holding the power button down for at least 15 seconds and rebooting and it did not fix the problem. Does anyone have something else I can try to remedy this problem or is it now a graphics card issue etc. that would require more in depth maintenance? Any help from someone who has fixed this same issue would be appreciated.
Thanks

@Corona081080, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It seems like the CD drive is working, which shows the system is powering on, but since the display isn't responding, it could be a monitor issue. Since it's an AIO, we can't reseat any cables directly, so please try the following:
- Restart the system.
- Connect the PC directly to a wall outlet (bypassing the surge protector).
- During the restart, tap F2 to enter the BIOS and see if the screen displays anything. This will help us determine if it's an OS issue or a potential display problem.
If you're still not seeing anything, the display might need to be replaced. Feel free to DM me with your details, and I can assist you further.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
