I spilt water on the left side of the laptop and my laptop doesn’t turn off. I panicked and wipe off the water from the keyboard and screen as quick as possible then closed the screen without turning the laptop off. I tried to dry off everything and try to turn it on but my keyboard and touchpad wasn’t working so now I’ve turned it off. Before I turned it off, the power light was on and my caps lock button was blinking on and off repeatedly. Is my laptop dead? Can someone please help.

Hi @TedowsGomes

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

Have a great day!
