HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c0000 IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Product Name HP LAPTOP 17T-CN000, Product #2W0H4AV and I have not logged on to this laptop since I received it and setup for the 1st time. I had all my login information written down but it is asking for a recovery key and I tried to do a hard reset on it but it won't allow anything. Can someone help me with this issue?

Hi:

I don't know what 'recovery key' you are referring to, but if it is a Bitlocker recovery key, hopefully you exported the key to your Microsoft account when you first set up the PC as prompted during the setup process.

You can access your Microsoft account from another PC and get the recovery key to enter.

If you didn't do that, unfortunately no one on this forum will be able to help, and you will have to contact HP customer service for assistance.
