HP Elitedesk 800 G4 SFF
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

How do I install Windows 7 64bit on HP Elitedesk 800 G4 SFF from boot usb?

Can I inject drivers for USB 3 etc?

Hi:

I believe if you use this tool to install the required drivers into your USB flash drive, it should work.

Hello, one question, I have managed to mount a windows 7 professional x64 bit iso, and I have managed to build an iso with the 3.0 usb drivers with this tool and I have been able to install windows 7 x64 bits in hp elitedesk 800 g2 and g3 sff ...
But as I understand the hp 800 g4 sff, it takes an eighth generation processor and needs 3.1 usb drivers, will be worth the ones that I installed for the sixth generation g2 and g3 ???

If not, where can I get the 3.1 drivers for eighth generation processors and re-format the iso, or launch the drivers by remote network when installed and lose access by usb ???

Thanks a lot for the answers in advance

Hi:

Intel did not develop any USB 3.1 drivers for W7, so I believe installing W7 on the G4 is a no go.

And the usb 3.0 drivers that work in sixth generation will not work on the hp g4 of the eighth generation?
There is no possibility to install the g4 with w7 with some driver not signed by intel?
The reason for my interest is because where I work I will get some elitedesk 800g4 hardware, and I can only put them in production with w7, since the work tool only works with ie8, and if I install w10, I can not demote ie11 .. .

Then I would also be worth some unsigned drivers that work with these processors installing w7 ...
Thanks for the answers

I don't think so.  I guess you can try...you have nothing to lose.

There are newer USB 3 drivers on the Intel website than the ones used in the Gigabyte tool.

But again, no USB 3.1 drivers exist.

Thank you very much for the answers and speed Paul Tikkanen...
I integrated in me iso with  w7x64 bits professional in Spanish
those drivers,  (integrate the .cat and .inf), so that when I installed it I would recognize them as drivers ...

And with that iso I can install without problems on hp 800 elitedesk g2 and g3 ...
Even in a seventh generation nuc , w7 x64 bits professional...

As soon as the teams arrive I will try, I just wanted to know if there was anyone who knew where to get the .inf, and .cat to integrate them back into the w7 iso that I have ...

I have also found the version intel_usb3.1_15.2.30.280

And I'll try if I can access the computer via remote, if I'm lucky and I recognize the network card ...

Again, thanks for your help, when I complete the test I will comment on the thread ...

These are the files that I have integrated in the iso of w7 and they have worked for me in g2 and g3, and I would like to get the ones that would work in g4 to integrate them in me iso of w7x64 bits

You're very welcome.

Is this the USB 3.1 driver you found for W7?

Because I don't see any USB 3.1 drivers for W7 on Intel's site.

Great.

Hopefully that one will work.
