It has been strongly advised that I update my BIOS but HP says my OS is "not listed" and I can't get the update. It was originally Windows 7 but has since been upgraded to Windows 10. The HP site I was using directed me to the forums. How do I update my BIOS? Here is the motherboard information:

  • Manufacturer's motherboard name: MS-7613
  • HP/Compaq name: Iona (GL8E)

Thank you

The BIOS updates that HP provides are OS-version specific, meaning if there is one for Win7, it will not run under Win10.

And with a PC this old, HP is not going to have any BIOS updates for anything newer than Win7.
