Hi:

 

Look at the 4th character from the left on the serial number.  It will be a 0 - 9.

 

The number you see there is the year the notebook was made.

 

For example if the number is a 5, it was made in 2015.  If it is a 6, then it was made in 2016.

 

It isn't much newer than that, and no older than 2015 because that is the year W10 came out, and W10 is what your notebook came with from HP.
