HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor
Linux

Hello-

I am trying to enable the VT-x capability of a HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor, with a Intel i5, 2.0 GHz.  The BIOS has been flashed to v02.28.  Isnt there a clear BIOS option to select that will enable it?  When I try to run a VMWare workstation it reports that VT-x is not enabled and I should enable it in the BIOS.

Hi:

The enable VT setting is in the BIOS' security menu.

See the service manual, below chapter 2, page 12 for the location of this setting...
