How do I order recovery Media? This has been 2 hours I will not get back. Lenovo and Dell allow customers to download the installation media.
HP, it seems to require an act of GOD to get recovery media. I was able to find the HP Cloud Recovery install, but the install does not complete. I called HP support 1.800.407.4005 They xferd my call. The next team told me to call 800.277.8164.
That number says go to Hp.com/buy/parts. That page does not sell recovery media. The number says Chat is there, if it is, it is well hidden.
FYI, Desktop All in One has a new hard drive because the first drive failed. Thus I need the media. No, I don't have a backup up. Sorry, Kids computer.

Hi:
HP no longer sells recovery media for that model or there would have been a link to order it on the W10 driver page.
HP All-in-One - 24-g214 Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support
If the cloud recovery tool media didn't work, you can pretty much count on that the store-bought HP recovery media wouldn't work either.
However, you can order a kit from this vendor at the link below if you want to take a chance on it.
If it were me, I would be clean installing W10 for free by making a bootable W10 USB installer with the media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from the first link I posted.

W10 should activate just fine.
I've reinstalled W10 on many different PC's and never had an issue with activation.
That problem only existed on Windows XP and older operating systems.
Even with Windows Vista and Windows 7, you could use retail installation media and activate it with an OEM product key.
You just needed to use the automated Windows activation phone system.

For Recovery Media, please contact HP Customer Support at the following link http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07143 . In order to set up a back up for a current Hard Drive.
HP does not post the Operating system, only drivers.
I guess HP posts steps\dirctions but never audits their documentation to ensure it is accurate, as their self-service support help is worthless.
When I used their Order Media, and called they sent me to a web page with no way to order.
Lessoned Learned. Don't Buy HP. Buy a Dell or Lenovo where you can actually get help even on devices out of warranty.
I would even buy a hard drive if they included the operating system on it.
