how to send files from the c drive to the d drive and how to do it

You don't "send" files from one drive to another, you simply copy them.

 

Open up File Explorer to the folder containing the files.

 

Then, right-click on File Explorer a second time and open another window -- and point it to the other drive.

 

Then drag and drop the files from the first File Explorer window to the second.

 

Once you have confirmed the files have been copied OK, then go back to the first File Explorer window and Delete them.
