I purchased a new H P desktop to replace my 7 y/o H P windows 10 with the newer windows 11. Can anyone please tell me how to easily transfer my files? I am not tech savvy and my grandchildren are not available to take care of Papa. Thanks in advance Jerry (oldvamp)

Let's make sure we are both talking about the same thing. There is a LOT of stuff in Windows that is related to the account, and without special software, you can only transfer part of that -- your personal files. You won't be able to transfer settings (like browser logins and passwords) nor will you be able to transfer applications.
All you will be able to transfer is your personal files and those are contained on the Windows (C:) drive, mostly under C:\Windows\<username>\documents -- where <username> is your Windows account name.
Another way to do this is with a transfer application, and the best one I've used is EaseUS PC Trans -- and the free version might be sufficient to do what you need. You can read about it from here:
