Hi

Secure Boot can cause problems when installing a new graphics card or using unsigned boot devices such as Linux boot media. Disconnecting a CPU fan, or in some cases, disconnecting chassis fans, will give BIOS error code.

Please provide specific beep codes. Providing BIOS error beep codes you hear may help to diagnose your problem.

Checked this site: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04828077.pdf  select "check for saved version".

Can't find any reference to BIOS error codes.
