@PKundu, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP slim desktop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand that your HP Slim Desktop PC SO1-PF2000i is repeatedly restarting and displaying the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED stop code. I'd be happy to assist you with troubleshooting this issue.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Shut down the PC completely.
- Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, external hard drives, etc.).
- Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
- Press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Reconnect the power cable and try turning the PC back on.
Boot into Safe Mode
If the issue persists, try booting into Safe Mode:
- Turn on your PC and force shut it down by holding the Power button as soon as the HP logo appears. Repeat this 3 times until the Windows Recovery Environment appears.
- Select Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- Once restarted, press 4 or F4 to enter Safe Mode.
- Check if the PC runs normally in Safe Mode. If it does, the issue may be caused by a recently installed program or driver.
Run Startup Repair
- In the Windows Recovery Environment, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
- Let Windows attempt to fix any startup issues.
Let me know if it helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
