Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To enable Hyper-V on your system, you'll need to address the "Virtualization Enabled In Firmware: No" requirement. Here's how you can enable virtualization in your firmware (BIOS/UEFI):
Step 1: Access BIOS/UEFI Firmware Settings
Restart Your Computer: As your computer boots up, press the appropriate key to enter BIOS/UEFI. Common keys are F2, F10, Del, or Esc, but this can vary by manufacturer. Check your laptop or motherboard documentation for the correct key.
Navigate to the Virtualization Settings:
- Look for tabs or sections labeled Advanced, CPU Configuration, or System Configuration.
- Find an option for Virtualization Technology, Intel VT-x, or AMD-V (the naming can vary).
Step 2: Enable Virtualization
- Enable the Setting: Change the setting to Enabled.
- Save Changes and Exit: Usually, you can press F10 to save and exit. Confirm if prompted.
Step 3: Verify in Windows
- Reboot into Windows.
- Check Hyper-V Requirements Again:
- Open a Command Prompt and type systeminfo or use the Hyper-V Manager to check if the virtualization is now enabled.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
