I have done everything you suggested, and nothing works.  I ran "netplwiz," and none of the elements were checked to begin.

I am going to try "Hello" option.

You had the wrong password.  This has happened to me also.

Put a check [x] in the require password box and click "apply"

Then uncheck it and click apply.

Windows will suggest a username and ask for a password.

The username suggested is very likely THE WORNG ONE.

Use the email and password that was used to activate or setup windows.

I have given up and decided to use a simple numerical code.

Thank you for your suggestion.
