Microsoft Windows 11

My phone was stolen and long story short, my home pc was hacked.  I did a factory set system restore, saving my personal information.  When setting up microsoft system, should I import my passwords, or do I run the risk of being hacked again?

Thanks in advance!  Bobbi

The factory reset only REFORMATS the drive but does not actually REMOVE the files.  Any PC that has been infected runs the risk of malware being contained in HIDDEN files that will survive the REFORMAT.  The only SAFE thing to do is to WIPE the drive, doing a Secure Erase ( by connecting the internal drive to another PC), and then reinstalling Windows from scracth.

Needless to say, you will lose everything in the process.
