this is an older HPE Pavilion im trying to update the bios it has an older F0R_821.ROM v8.21 whatever that means im a complete NOOB when it comes to stuff like this i just simply want to overclock my ram and maybe my core i7 but i can't even use Intel XTU it wont open it gets stuck i've tried to reboot and re install windows 10 pro nothing helps anyways the bios is pretty outdated its from 2014 and it won't let me even boot to a core manager or whatever its called. i just need some help i'm new to all this and this is my first time ever asking the HP online community.

I understand that you are unable to update the BIOS.
This model has not tested for windows 10 operating systems. Please refer to the following link.
There are no drivers for windows 10.
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
