I would like to install Windows 7 on a slimline 270-p043w. When i go to bios and choose to boot legacy and have the OS disc. it boots to the install but a mouse or keyboard won't work and i can't go any futher with the install. Please Help

You're very welcome.
You'll have to open up the PC and reset the CMOS to its defaults.
See the motherboard info page and illustration of the location of the clear CMOS jumper

There are instructions on the page but I think either my PC or the support site has a major issue because I can't open any of the clickable links on the page.
If the page doesn't work for you, here is the illustration...
Clear CMOS: Move jumper one spot down (when oriented with SW_CMOS to the left of the pin block) and start the computer.
note: Clearing the CMOS also clears the password.

Find "USB Legacy Support" in BIOS and enable it.

You have to run this utility to put the USB3 drivers into a W7 USB installation flash drive...
http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Utility/mb_utility_windowsimagetool.zip
You can't use a W7 DVD to install W7.
