Hello all, sorry for any spelling errors but im PISSED
Something to my computer might have been an update error due to intel removing thee rapid storage driver and the set up RST,EXE. nothing wonts to work. Ive tried everything besides wiping this whole lap top down. I use this computer for school so all my money went to that and to top it all off linix or Ubuntu wont support anything i do for school. I just want my computer back to its original state when i bought it. Ive tried contacting my dad whos a software engineer and he can barely figure it out. Ive been working on this for SIX HOURS!!!! Im "ubuntu" pull my hair out..... Here is exactly what my boyfriend said about the computer"
"Went to start the computer it wouldn't work some kind of boot error , so I had to download the HP recovery tool which ask for the computers build number which is on a sticker on the back. Did that , reinstalled and it wouldn't work gave a error code which was for some kind of boot log error. Tried over and over same error so I put Linux on it and it worked fine. Even when I put the new hard drive in I got the same error , so I figured I need to pull the memory cards out to when I install the new hard drive. And I installed Linux via USB. I figured a new hard drive and clearing the memory (taking them out) would erase the boot log and make a whole new one.I tried watching a video about fixing the boot log but what it had me do didn't fix the problem. Or maybe master boot record? MBR if that sounds right."
I just want someone more qualified that can help me create a file to put on a USB so i can have my computer back to where it was when i bought it.
Any help will do, Thank you

Hi:
if the cloud recovery tool returned an error, there isn't much you can do about that.
So, that leaves you with the other option which would be to clean install Windows 10 on the drive.
Make a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Boot from the installation media and then when you get to the part where Windows can't find any drives to install on, you have to load the Intel RST drivers that I have zipped up and attached below.
The attached file is good for both W10 & W11.
Copy all of the files in both folders in the attached file to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W10/W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next and Windows should find the drive and install.
Now, if you have to recover any important files from the notebook, install Windows over the existing Windows partition and it will create a Windows.old folder.
After Windows has completed installing, you can explore the Windows.old folder, find your old user profile and copy and paste the folders in your old user profile to the new one.
If you do not have any files to save or Ubuntu wiped out the data, after Windows finds the drive to install on, delete every partition on the drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space. Click Next and Windows will install.
When you are finished, you can download the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
