Product: Intel Pentium N3540 Processor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older
A blue screen will come up (while I'm in the middle of working on documents or whatever) and it will have a message that says "Your PC ran into a problem; we are checking for errors and will restart." What does this mean?

It means a driver(or other file) it not playing nice, usually due to a recent change/installation, etc.
Click Start and type cmd, right-click the Command Prompt tile, and then click Run as administrator.
Then run C:\Windows\System32>sfc /scannow
(*If you keep a backup handy you can restore it to an earlier point before the error.)
