The latest OS supported is Win 8. Therefor I wonder if there is a new update compatible with Windows 10. The drivers support Linux, FreeBSD and Win-Vista to Win 8. Would it work to install the Win 8 driver?

Hi:
The BIOS file you see listed under W8 is not a BIOS update.
The BIOS updates are all found under the W7 driver section and the latest one is v2.33.
You can use the W7 BIOS update but you should use the F10 Setup BIOS flash method to do it so you are outside of Windows.
Also, before you update the BIOS...a warning...
If you have W10 installed in Legacy mode and you update the BIOS to v2.33, it will take over 2 minutes for the PC to restart after a warm boot every time, unless you go into the BIOS and hide the embedded security device (TPM).
In order for that problem not to occur, you have to have W10 installed in UEFI mode.
If your PC has a BIOS older than v2.28 installed and you want to update the BIOS, and W10 is installed in Legacy mode and you do not want to reinstall Windows in UEFI mode, then only update the BIOS to v2,28.
The long restart problem does not occur in v2.28.
See this discussion for how to update the BIOS using the F10 Setup BIOS flash method:
The discussion is for v2.28 .
If you want to update to v2.33, just download that file instead and use the same procedure.
