My mother in law recently acquired an envy 20 d010 from a co-worker who thought it was trash and was going to scrap it. She asked me to take a look, so when I fired it up I had a black screen listing the ram and some other info and f1 to boot. Since I have no keyboard I just tried turning it off/on real quick. It booted straight to whatever program they had been using when it shut off. And it was SLOW! Half the speed of smell at best. I got it to open task manager (30 minutes later) and saw the disk was at 100% I decided to try to restore to an earlier point and it worked but now I'm stuck at sign in screen. Nobody remembers the password of course. Is there anyway I can clear the password or get to boot menu w/out keyboard? Or any other options? Thanks

Sorry, but there are always serious problems like this when you try to reset a used PC. Admin passwords and BIOS passwords are often in place -- and we are not allowed to assist in bypassing those. Other hardware issues are often present too, and we have no way to fix those.
Plus, without a keyboard you are severely handicapped in what you can do.
So, the first thing you need to consider, if you really want to get this working again, is getting the right keyboard for it
