Laptop is the HP Pavilion Plus 14 inch Laptop PC 14-ey0000, and my issue is that i can't seem to find the Ethernet section in "Network & Internet", or in device manager. The Ethernet cable works on my other laptop which uses intel, so i think that because this laptop has an AMD CPU, that could be causing the problem.

Chapters 1 and 2 of the service manual indicate that the model series does not come with an ethernet port.

Wi-Fi only.
You will find that many HP consumer class notebooks no longer come with built in ethernet.
My HP 15-ee0047nr notebook doesn't have an ethernet port either and that one was made in 2020.
If you need ethernet, you can use a USB 3/USB-C to RJ-45 gigabit ethernet adapter.

Thank you for response, but the issue isn't that i don't have an Ethernet port, i already have a USB to Ethernet adapter that works well, but it doesn't seem to matter on this laptop as the laptop is missing Ethernet adapter drivers in device manager.

You're very welcome.
Since I don't understand the problem, as you stated the USB ethernet adapter works, I don't have any other suggestions.
The notebook does not come with an onboard ethernet port so there wouldn't be any ethernet drivers in the device manager.
