Short answer: let sleeping dogs lie.

Long answer:

Why do you think that you need to install a device-driver?

What will you gain, if you do find & install a device-driver?

Is something on your computer NOT working?

Do you have a "home" computer, or a computer within a corporate environment, where there is an IT group that "remotely" manages your computer, and you want to allow them to do so?

 Alternate answer:

See: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-p7-1000-desktop-pc-series/508...?

to download the HP Support Assistant.

Install it.

Run it.

Maybe, it will find the "missing" device-driver.

Yet another alternate answer, for Windows 8 (maybe for Windows 7 ???):

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-p7-1000-desktop-pc-series/508...?

If you run this update, it may create a folder, containing the device-driver (and more).

After it does, stop the installer.

Within "Device Manager", select the "unknown" device, and click "Update Driver", and tell the updater to look into this newly-created folder.
