My niece spilled juice in my laptop. I took it to get fixed at a computer shop and was told that I needed a new port replacement. I paid for the replacement and my laptop still won’t turn on. I bought a new charger for it and everything. I bought this laptop in Feb 2019 and barely used it. I just won’t it to work again so I wont have to but a new laptop. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Unfortunately, liquids spilled on electronic gadgetries tend to cause disastrous outcomes specifically electric shorts which sadly more often than not ruin them. Likely your motherboard is fried too. If you know what motherboard capacitors look like, see if any of them have bulged or have stuff oozing out.
Anyway, I have an issue with the computer shop though. Waffling about repairing a defective port? Right. Ironically, the port they (claimed to have) replaced was probably still in working order, in my opinion.
If you want a second opinion, please take your laptop to a different computer repair shop.
Kind Regards,
