HP Recommended

My mouse has vanished from my laptop and I cannot get it back. I had this problem in the past, but when I caught up on updates it came back no problem. I have already updated my computer and checked to make sure there's no other updates left. Still no mouse. I went to go see if the mouse driver needed updated, and it is completely missing from my system. I cannot download drivers from the HP website, as there is no option for a windows 11 OS (my laptop is a little old now), there is only old and out of date drivers on the website. How do I get my mouse back and where did my driver go?
