Have a Lenovo PC. Has windows 7 Home Premium. Sticker number is. X16-96072.  Have full key code. Repair disk returns  "boot manager missing." Need an install disk. my computer did not come with one.   When I entered my above X16' number, sent me to your site. My operating PC is a wireless connection.  Have not operated computer since  2014.

hi

You are using an iso number, I don't really see the connection with hp here..

if it's a specific image, you shouldn't be able to use a system from one model/brand with another


If you have a Lenovo computer you should, see lenovo support, What are the recovery options
If you have no choice, then get an iso, the same version you had originally

That Image file is for an HP Windows 7 Home Premium OA X16-96072 as @Prométhée already pointed out.  It should not activate on a Lenovo PC, as it will see that the hardware is incorrect.

Windows 7 Home Premium is a common install disk that you can use the retail version and then activate with the Lenovo activation code.

If you do not have the correct install retail disk (Windows 7 Home Premium), you may still be able to get it here.

Pick the the correct version - it has worked in the past.

Here is the link to the W7 Home Premium 64 Bit English (US) ISO file.

 

This is the August 2018 revision which is too large to fit on a standard 4.7 GB DVD.

The link will be good for 24 hours from the time of this reply.

 

After you download the file, use the free Rufus utility to transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive so that it is bootable.

 

Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

 

When you set up the menu in Rufus, you can leave everything as you see it in the illustration on the website except the partition scheme.

 

Change that from GPT to MBR.

@Prométhée  - yes that link works again, I actually tried it and it now offers the August 2018 revision  as @Paul_Tikkanen 

mentioned.  I picked that version and it works.

For W7, only the Heidoc August 2018 version works for W7 32/64 bit Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate English US versions.

 

The multiple language ISO files do not work.
