Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP PC does not recognize any USB memory device when plugged into any USB slot. I have tried to update drivers from the HP site and learned all of my drivers are up to date and supposedly working.

@JoeMarshall -- it is possible that some of the circuits on the motherboard -- the ones controlling the USB sockets --- have failed.  I have one computer where the "USB3" ports are dead, but the "USB2" ports are fine.

If you purchased the computer within the last 12 months, open a claim against the HP Warranty to get HP to repair/replace your computer,'s motherboard at HP's expense. If the warranty has expired, you will need to pay for a new motherboard, and for a technician's time to install the new motherboard.
