I dropped my PC and it says my device needs to be repaired  and I don't have any installation media.

Hi @Kllegrand

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Please provide a HP product number to check for a HP operating system Cloud Recovery option. Most, if not all, newer HP PCs have a Cloud Recovery option.

Dropping the PC could also cause a hardware problem which could require a additional steps to fix the PC.

Start the PC to see if you can check the hardware (drives, memory, and other components).

Repeatedly tap "ESC" at start up.

If possible, select "F2" on the UEFI Startup Menu. Run system and component tests.

Regards
