My laptop screen (HP Pavillion g 7) is shaking (light on and off, cannot control)

This is a new problem, but I am woried:

Sometimes when I'm watching a movie or opening the laptop the screen starts to shake. That means that the brightness of the screen changes very rapidly from "black" to bright lighted. After shaking abou 5 seconds it settles, but it repeats itself occasionally.

Nothing seem to help (all cords are fine and connected) , and I don't know anything, really, about computers.

Could it be just dust inside the laptop? Or is something breaking down?
This laptop is about five years old but it has been working fine - until now.

Please help me, just knowing where the nearest HP-workshop is would be fine. I live in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

It could be a loose or damaged video-cable between the motherboard and the display screen that has some "intermittent" connection problems.  Find a qualified computer technician.
