@Jevaughn__,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

If your HP laptop has entered "Automatic Repair" and "Recovery" mode, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Allow the automatic repair process to complete: In some cases, the automatic repair feature can fix common startup issues. Let the process run its course and see if it resolves the problem.

  2. Restart the laptop: If the automatic repair process doesn't resolve the issue, try restarting your laptop. Sometimes a simple reboot can fix temporary glitches.

  3. Check for external devices or media: Ensure that there are no USB drives, external hard drives, or discs inserted into the laptop. These devices can sometimes interfere with the boot process and cause startup issues.

  4. Boot into Safe Mode: If the laptop continues to have problems, try booting into Safe Mode. This mode loads only essential system files and drivers, allowing you to troubleshoot software conflicts or driver issues. To access Safe Mode, you typically need to press the F8 key repeatedly during startup or use a specific key combination specified by your laptop model.

  5. Use system restore or recovery options: If you have previously created a system restore point or have recovery options available, you can try restoring your laptop to an earlier working state. This can help revert any recent changes that might be causing the issue.

  6. Reset or reinstall the operating system: If none of the above steps work, you may need to consider resetting or reinstalling the operating system. This process will remove all data and applications from your laptop, so it's crucial to have backups of your important files before proceeding. HP laptops usually provide recovery options to reinstall the operating system using a recovery partition or a recovery disc.

If you're unsure about any of these steps or encounter difficulties during the process, it's recommended to consult HP support resources or contact HP customer support for further assistance tailored to your specific laptop model.

To contact HP support resources or customer support in Jamaica, you can try the following options:

  1. HP Jamaica Customer Support Phone Number: You can call the HP customer support phone number specifically for Jamaica. Here is the contact information for HP Jamaica:

    HP Jamaica Customer Support: 1-eighthundred-HP-INVNT (Note: Phone numbers may vary, so please verify the contact details from the official HP website for your specific location.)

    When calling, be prepared with your laptop's serial number and any relevant information about the issue you're facing.

  2. HP Support Website: Visit the official HP support website for Jamaica. Go to https://www.hp.com/jm-en/ and look for the "Support" or "Contact" section. There, you should find various support options, such as live chat, email support, or online forms, to get in touch with HP's customer support team.

  3. Social Media: HP often has social media accounts for specific regions or countries. You can try reaching out to HP Jamaica via their social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. Search for "HP Jamaica" or "@HPJamaica" on these platforms to find their official accounts.

When contacting HP customer support, it's helpful to have your laptop's model number, serial number, and a clear description of the issue you're facing. This information will enable the support team to assist you more effectively.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
