Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000a (4H509AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A. I have an AMD based 15L desktop, but the product selector only lets me choose notebook. I am aware this is the wrong board to post.

B. I am trying to reinstall Windows 10/11 from USB stick and it asks for drivers. For what, storage devices? IDK, windows doesn't say. So which are the correct drivers for my system? It is the AMD Ryzen flavor. I have additional drives with other OS, so I do not want a factory reset to original configuration. SInce I am on linux currently, I also cannot run the auto-detect HP program, if that makes a difference.

If Windows Setup is asking for drivers before it can see the drive, it's usually looking for the storage controller or chipset driver, not the SSD itself. Since you have the AMD version of the Victus 15L, you should download the AMD chipset and, if applicable, the AMD RAID/storage controller drivers from HP's support page for your exact model. Copy the extracted drivers to a second USB drive (or another folder on the installation USB) and use Load Driver during Windows Setup. If your SSD already appears in Windows Setup, you shouldn't need to load any additional storage drivers.
