Need to create a BIOS driver rescue usb key

Hi...anyone, I downloaded a BIOS update as recommended by HP driver update scan and I clicked and downloaded the BIOS update...no interruptions occurred  and it asked me to re start I did and it failed to restart...it would appear the Bios was corrupt for some reason. I am wondering if I create a rescue drive could I flash the Bios in order to get the Bios back again, and if so where can I download the correct BIOS since it would appear that it is not under the drivers for my product on the HP site.

I am going round in circles trying find a solution...the Motherboard is no longer made so I am left with trying to repair the old one. I have posted this question before and I received a reply but for the life of me I cannot find the response  .

Any one have any ideas please.

Hello, Thank you for your advice. I am sure you will understand when I say I am reluctant to now go down the route of installing the flash Bios since I made a note of the last one which is the first on your list dated 5th March, which apparently caused all this trouble, however a feint heart and all that. 

I shall post and let you know how I got on.
