Hi @Anula213,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are experiencing no sound from your headphones when plugged into the HP Pavilion All-In-One 24-K0024, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Check headphone connection: Ensure that the headphone plug is fully inserted into the headphone jack. Sometimes a loose connection can result in no sound.
Test the headphones: Try using your headphones with another device, such as a smartphone or tablet, to determine if the issue lies with the headphones themselves. If the headphones work with other devices, the problem may be with the computer.
Check volume settings: Make sure that the volume on your computer is turned up and not muted. You can check the volume settings by clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray (usually located in the bottom-right corner of the screen) and adjusting the volume slider.
Update audio drivers: Outdated or corrupted audio drivers can cause issues with sound output. To update the audio drivers, you can visit the HP support website, enter your computer's model number (24-K0024), and download the latest audio drivers for your operating system. Install the drivers and restart your computer to apply the changes. Software and Drivers for HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-k0024
Disable audio enhancements: Sometimes, audio enhancements or effects can interfere with headphone output. To disable audio enhancements, right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray, select "Playback devices," right-click on your headphone device, select "Properties," go to the "Enhancements" tab, and check the box next to "Disable all enhancements." Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.
Check default playback device: Make sure that the headphone device is set as the default playback device. Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray, select "Playback devices," right-click on your headphone device, and select "Set as Default Device" if it's not already set as default.
Restart audio services: Sometimes restarting the Windows Audio service can resolve sound-related issues. Press Win + R, type "services.msc" (without quotes), and press Enter. In the Services window, find "Windows Audio" in the list, right-click on it, and select "Restart."
Uninstall drivers on Device Manager
Open device manage to Uninstall drivers on Device Manager
1. Open Start.
2. Search for Device Manager and click the top result to open the app.
3. Expand the category with the device driver to remove.
4. Right-click the battery and (one by one )device and select the Uninstall device option.
5. Click the Uninstall button. Once you complete the steps, the driver will be entirely removed from the computer.
Restart the unit
Hardware issue: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the headphone jack or audio components of your computer. HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
