Product: HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-5000i (8R3P9AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Not able to install windows update KB 5046740.

 

Have tried on numerous occasions even with McFee switched off for 30 minutes or so.

 

Any suggestions how I can install without issues

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the standalone update install from the Microsoft Update Catalog:

 

November 21, 2024—KB5046740 (OS Build 26100.2454) Preview - Microsoft Support

 

When you click on the catalog link, you want the first file listed, not the second one.
