Envy 32-a0010
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a brand new Envy 32-a0010 and I've been trying to order the recovery USB media in case I ever need to reinstall Windows.  There's been an issue with the support website for a week where I am immediately returned to the support home page after submitting the order.  It never goes through and I haven't been able to post here either.  Seems to be only affecting Windows machines.  I'm using a chromebook to post here but the support page won't show me the page for the Envy because the chromebook doesn't run Windows.

Does anyone know of a phone number I can call to order the recovery media?  Many thanks for any help.

Hi:

I recommend you save the $50 - $60 or so HP will charge you for recovery media and make your own using the HP cloud recovery tool.   This will do the same thing as the media you order from HP...

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool...

Paul -- you're a genius.  I read the documentation in your link and my Envy can use the cloud recovery tool.  Many thanks!
